Multiple Sclerosis Treatment.
Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic autoimmune disease which leads to severe physical and/or cognitive problems. It occurs when the immune cells mistakenly attack the myelin sheath including nerve cells from the brain and spinal cord. Without the myelin sheath, nerve cells function is disrupted leading the severe physical or cognitive issues.
Every person we treat is unique. Correct evaluation and diagnosis by our doctors ensures that the treatment methods they recommend will specifically suit you. Carefully chosen methods pave the way to our goal: your healthy and successful relief.

Stem Cells
and Multiple Sclerosis
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can differentiate into different cell types such as nerve cells and oligodendrocytes. Oligodendrocytes create the myelin sheath and help restore nerve cell function. It has been proven in studies that demyelination was improved after transplantation, suggesting that stem cell therapy is a viable treatment for MS patients. The cells may also have an immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effect.
We always recommend a personal consultation. The advantage is that the treatment process is quicker and you get the personal supervision of a doctor as well.
Stem Cell Studies
Preclinical trials have also observed that MSCs migrate to the inflamed central nervous system (CNS). It suggests that the MSCs may induce the production of neuroprotective agents which help preserve the axons in the central nervous system.
